Come celebrate breakfast at
the Captain Fairfield Inn by indulging in a four course,
cooked to order breakfast, served in our dining room
between the hours of 8:30 and 9:30.
Breakfast begins with our
special blend of Downeast Coffee, specialty organic teas,
and our signature fresh orange juice blend. This will soon
be followed with a seasonal fruit course, typically fresh
berries, melon and kiwi or a cranberry apple poached
pear. Next, fresh from the oven, come blueberry muffins,
cranberry orange scones, butterscotch coffee cake or maybe
72 layer cream cheese biscuits. Finally you will be
offered a choice of two prepared to order entrées.
On any
given morning you could expect:

Fresh salsa and Vermont cheddar omelet with a dollop of
sour cream

Wild Maine Blueberry Crepes, served with heavy vanilla
whipping cream

Eggs Benedict with our homemade Hollandaise sauce and
steamed asparagus

Cinnamon Buttermilk Pancakes stuffed with sautéed
Macintosh apples and served with apple-maple breakfast
sausage

Omelet Fairfield (our secret!)
