                 Breakfast
Come celebrate breakfast at the Captain Fairfield Inn by indulging in a four course, cooked to order breakfast, served in our dining room between the hours of 8:30 and 9:30.

Breakfast begins with our special blend of Downeast Coffee, specialty organic teas, and our signature fresh orange juice blend. This will soon be followed with a seasonal fruit course, typically fresh berries, melon and kiwi or a cranberry apple poached pear.  Next, fresh from the oven, come blueberry muffins, cranberry orange scones, butterscotch coffee cake or maybe 72 layer cream cheese biscuits. Finally you will be offered a choice of two prepared to order entrées. 

On any given morning you could expect:

  • Fresh salsa and Vermont cheddar omelet with a dollop of sour cream
  • Wild Maine Blueberry Crepes, served with heavy vanilla whipping cream
  • Eggs Benedict with our homemade Hollandaise sauce and steamed asparagus
  • Cinnamon Buttermilk Pancakes stuffed with sautéed Macintosh apples and served with apple-maple breakfast sausage
  • Omelet Fairfield (our secret!)
  • Maine Maple French toast topped with a brown sugar-pecan glaze
