• Head north of us to Portland, Maine, then take a leisurely ride inland around the north shore of Lake Sebago.  Pass through Maine's Lakes and Mountain region; visit Fryeburg and experience an old fashioned country fair with harness racing, ox and horse pulling and more (September 30 through October 5). Then on to North Conway, New Hampshire and scenic views of Mt. Washington. Wind your way back "home" through mountain passes, past bubbling streams and quaint villages. Driving time: 4 hours, but allow for at least two hours for stopping along the way.
