Kennebunk, Maine:
Brick Store Museum. Local history collections and exhibits are housed in this block of 19th century buildings. Fine furniture, portraits, maritime paintings, ship models, quilts and costumes are among the Museum's holdings which illustrate the history of the area from the earliest settlements to the present.

- Kennebunkport, Maine:
Seashore Trolley Car Museum. Telling the story of a nation in motion as America moved from a rural to an urban and suburban society. The museum collects, restores, exhibits, and operates historic streetcars and other examples of public transportation. A great day's outing!
- Portland, Maine: Portland Museum of Art. Maine's largest art museum houses an extensive collection of American artists, featuring Maine-based masters, Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, and Andrew Wyeth. The museum's permanent collection includes works by Renoir, Degas, Picasso and be sure not to miss the changing exhibits as well.
- Portsmouth, New Hampshire: Strawbery Banke Museum and Gardens. An outdoor history museum which includes a unique group of historical houses and gardens. Ongoing exhibits and educational programs for all audiences and ages.
