Whatever your occasion, we at the Captain Fairfield Inn would love to be your hosts. Instead of worrying about the logistics of a house rental or the possibility of intruding on other guests, imagine having everything taken care of for you…the best of both worlds. You’ll have the entire 9 bedroom house at your disposal, plus housekeeping service, a full breakfast each morning and personal assistance in planning your event.

We first decided to rent out the entire Inn after our inaugural family Christmas in Kennebunkport. Because we have a 9 bedroom house, we figured that we should host both of our families for the holidays. Normally such a feat would have been hampered by “interesting” and sometimes strained interactions between family members…however since everyone had their own privates space, own bathroom and own TV, the holiday gathering worked out famously! There was no fighting over the remote…no worrying about who was going to clean the kitchen and most importantly we were able to spend time together while not being on top of each other all the time.

We love offering the same environment for other groups. While we do the work of making your gathering special, you will be able to enjoy the true purpose of your get together…food…. fun…family stories…whatever!

Though we serve only one meal at the Inn (breakfast), we do work with several local chefs and catering companies to provide other meals.
